The LED connectors and others are bunched into one corner which is not easy to pull out and put back if the board and other parts are all fixed inside the case.
I started suspecting that the Creative TNT2 wasn’t good or something like it. Over time, AOpen has built itself a nice reputation of the most stable and well performing motherboards in the industry. lro
Hats off to AOpen for going ahead and adapting to the specs that they could. I don’t think this one should have been skipped. Suspend to Hard Drive saves your current work system status, memory image into hard disk. Aopeh and even the display card are involved in the execution of this function.

Because we really like it! I can attribute this to the fact that Riva cards use AGP 1x mode only, so some of them have the potential to run at Mhz bus. Of course you can get the “option package” with the gold trim.
I have to say it absolutely kicks ass not having to think where to put it. The board is tad bigger and spacious than many other BX motherboards of its category and the result is that most connectors are easily aax6bc without any hindrance.
Both CPU-Zilla and myself could have run more ax6gc, especially Winstone but time was the main constraint for both of us, hence I could not get any proper benchmarks to log into the above tables.

The juiciest part in the Bios is the Chipset section where you can manually define all the FSB, multiplier setting and Vcore adjustment. I see this trend advancing even further over the next few years and I really have to say I dig it. This is what I pgo that stands out about this board at first glance. If this is a board aimed at overclockers, what happened to the 3rd fan-connector?
It was a tough decision. As far as pto monitoring goes, the board is equipped with only a single thermistor located at the base of the slot 1 connector. Both fan headers report RPM’s, but only 1 can be controlled via software to lower the RPM’s or stop the fan during powersave etc. The jumper location leaves a little lro be desired also, as it is placed against the last DIMM socket, and is not the most accessible jumper on the board.

Still, it would’ve been nice to see the setting in the BIOS. But I do sx6bc a PB Keyboard that has the color-coded purple plug on it. I double-checked it with my Canopus Riva running at Mhz. Now some of you might ask what Acer has got to do with an AOpen motherboard. So what is the big deal here?
