Adjusting the settings or killing pulseaudio usually worked. It worked quite well in Ubuntu I have found a workaround. You may collect my geek card on your way through. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue.
Bus Device I now experience the same problems as described above, with the card being only recognized as stereo device. However, the sound card is not useable due to very distracting behavior.
