If you search the internet for ‘Windows 8 slow internet’ it returns lots of results, and yet Microsoft doesn’t fix this. The only thing is that the card has 3 antenna sockets and the dv5 has only two antennas. Checking for updated drivers is one of the first things I do when a problem presents. Thanks again for the link to the driver. Sometime interferences like cordless phones, thick walls and other wireless wierless can hinder the wireless connection speed. We had the same issue a while back with Intel ProSet cards. It has gone from the re-seller, to Lenovo, and now to Intel.
